I’m Emily Belsham and am a mum of 2 Oscar and Henry.  While on Maternity leave with Henry I started to think of ways I could earn a living without having to return to my job which has a 3 hour round trip commute.

 

We had, had both our boy’s imprints done and everyone is always saying how lovely they are and asking where we had them done.  So one day I thought why can’t I do this and so here I am doing it.

 

I went on a course to learn about clay/glazing and fairing and now have my own workshop with my kiln and work area.  After a lot of practicing thanks for my boys I am now very proud and think I have a fantastic product to sell.

 

I think that as a mum I can recognise just how fast our little ones grow and before we know it those baby days are gone and before you know it there starting school.

 

To look at the framed imprints you can’t imagine that they were really that small but they were and I want to help people remember that by capturing that moment in time.
